the true nature of labels

Of late or maybe not only of late labels(in the broadest sense of the term, as in what you're trying to do to figure out what I mean by labels) have gotten a bit of a bad rap, and considering that when I talk to most people they react as though by applying labels some how defines what there applied to I can see why.  Though if you ask me the issue doesn't lie with the application of the label but the misconception that the label defines the item.  When this isn't the case a label is defined by a set of parameters and if an item meet these the label applies it doesn't it doesn't.  Then of course there are names which or labels defined by the item to which they are applied.  An' in nether of these cases dose the label define the item in fact it is the label being defined.

The Valintines day trap

Let me start by saying that I have nothing against setting aside a day to celebrate romance.  As a matter of fact I approve of it at least in principle, But from what I've seen this is not what it's about any more.
   There are three main issues I see as the problem;
  1. Your Expected to do something which if you ask me make it seem some how less sincere
  2. It seems to me to be  more about the romantic act then actual romance
  3. lastly at least for today is the general focus on couples as thou signal people are some how less romantic

Woman my poison my vice

Woman you’re my poison my vice
When you’re away I ache for you
When you’re near I bleed for you

Woman you’re my reason my reward
You’re the balm to sooth the pain
You’re the bandage to staunch the bleeding

Woman you’re my Curse my Blessing
You’re why I live
You’re likely why I’ll Die

Woman I’d have no other for with you
For every ounce of pain you give me I get ten of pleasure
For every moment in hell with you I get ten in heaven
