the true nature of labels
Of late or maybe not only of late labels(in the broadest sense of the term, as in what you're trying to do to figure out what I mean by labels) have gotten a bit of a bad rap, and considering that when I talk to most people they react as though by applying labels some how defines what there applied to I can see why. Though if you ask me the issue doesn't lie with the application of the label but the misconception that the label defines the item. When this isn't the case a label is defined by a set of parameters and if an item meet these the label applies it doesn't it doesn't. Then of course there are names which or labels defined by the item to which they are applied. An' in nether of these cases dose the label define the item in fact it is the label being defined.

You want out of the box; You can't handle out of the box
You probably have heard the buy phrase "think outside the box" yet if you think about it when has anyone actually been praised for thinking outside the box?

secret talents
To see the secret talents within each and every child would be to look on in amazement, as if a conductor took the colors of a rainbow the sunset, and sunrise, as well as the colors of the moon reflecting off the shadows of trees and water. Then to weave them altogether in a splendid impossible quilt of fine smooth silk as tough as nano carbon fiber, as warm as the summer sun, as smooth as a cream colored pearl, as light as air, as cool as soothing aloe-Vera to the over sun burnt skin- and yet far greater still. Yet for this there is always someone out there who can understand and see these hidden talents without even blinking an eye. Then encourage them to bring it to their fullest potential, yet very few ever do.
I know I have tried to bring my hidden talent to its peak, and it still grows. But yet I feel it will never be so… for what is the fullest potential for someone’s talent if their hidden talent is that of the gift of imagination? So, for each person who is able to bring their talents to full potential I say to thee hooray and good day, for to be able to use ones talent to it’s fullest is indeed a great thing. So to each and every person I say to yeas be happy and joyful and do your best so that you my never regret what you have done when the time comes for you to make your last and final journey… a journey to find out the true answer so many want to know and crave to know. Though only have their hopes, beliefs, trust, and dreams and that question and inevitably answer that you find when you die what happens after death. We can hope, have faith, and have trust, belief and finally dreams. Though until that day comes for when you’re to die you will never truly understand or have what science calls irrefutable proof as to what happens after you die.

The advantages of small towns
This blog post is an interactive blog about small towns and their advantages and disadvantages. The reason I have decided to make this post is due to the fact that there are few small towns well known, but people tend to categorize them all together as if they're all the same and base their opinions off this. I am not saying their opinion is wrong or right just sometimes a bit uninformed it’s not their fault or any one else’s its just that they are not well known. So people in general tend to base their opinions off of what they have heard or what small amount of actual experience they have. This is a blog to help get the info out and about. It is also to help people who think they might like a small town living to know and understand what they are looking at and what they are getting themselves into so they know what they may want to consider. Alright, now on to the flesh of this blog, the advantages and disadvantages and sometimes double edged advantages of small towns.
I myself have had a few different experiences with small towns and have come to see several different views on the matter of disadvantages and advantages. For example Coequal, Oregon; it was small and close knit but at the same time it didn't have as many schools or community services as its close neighbor Coos bay. Though, it also had less traffic congestion. Then you have Grants Pass, its spread out but still a small town population wise. You have people there that will help out the best they can but some times they just don't have the stuff or skills necessary to help you out. So you get stuck in a jam occasionally. Then there is a town named new Pine creek. Barley even a town and barely noticed half the time but its there. And, the people are friendly and live in happiness most of the time, often more times then those who live in cities. Then you have Lakeview, Oregon; most don't know about it and the few people who do will understand the draw it has on those. It may be small but it has great scenery, good people, and facilities such as schools, doctors and the like.
Their capabilities maybe better due to some of the best teachers and doctors who go there to have a nice and relaxing breather. They find they like it and end up staying there and enjoying themselves. While they still continue to be able to do their jobs to the best of their abilities, if not better, (sometimes because of this) that is why some tell other doctors or teachers who maybe are not doing as well as they used to. For instance, in Lakeview there is an eye doctor who is one of the best in Oregon. He goes there to relax and live happily and in turn does a better job. Yet, because he is less stressed than others he can concentrate better when he does his job. Then you have a math teacher there who is well respected in the mathematical community. The children there are very smart, which is very different then most versions of how people think a small town community will be.
The reason I talk of Lakeview the most is because out of all the places I have been and all the small towns, it is the one I remember the most vividly. Yet even lake view has its faults... one such fault is that it doesn't have as many mental health resources that big towns and cities have at there disposal (at the moment that is). This is all I have to say for now. Feel free to speak or in this case type your mind and experiences that you have about this subject. That is why this is a interactive blog... I can only give the view I have from what I know of small towns. I admit it I don't know every thing contrary to what some people tend to say. So due to this I will give my best with the limited experience and view I have. I am bound to miss something you will see, so come and join the discussion!?

The Blog of Views
Someone’s first view of me: there are a ton of amalgamations of a person first sight view of me here are a few. I have been viewed as intimidating do to my height and as a nerd because I carry a calculator everywhere I go and of course as a possible prospective basketball player again due to my height. as strange because I where several layers of clothing and jackets during the middle of summer on a sunny day of 110 degrees Fahrenheit also as suspicious due to this same reason. Yet further still as somewhat of an oddity because they just can't seem to be able to place me correctly in any real category. Then yet again as someone who is a smart person because I am reading a big book when they first see me. As someone who is edgy because I fidget a lot as a gentlemen due to my actions to others. Then yet again as a slob due to seemingly not changing my clothes or caring for my hair as someone that is uncertain for the fact that it seems my action contradict each other and are seemingly indecisive. Then when they actually talk to me they view me differently still such as a person who is a cheeky little bugger or as humorous. As annoying and yet strange or as being born several centuries to late then again as being born several decades to Early and then as nothing more than what they view and term as a normal person with no problems at all. As being too clever for my own good as someone shady as someone trust worthy as someone who knows nothing of what they say. As a persons who has common sense as someone who has no common sense at all. Then as someone wise beyond my years as someone who has the wisdom of a five year old as a poet as an idiot as a genius as a teller of tall tales. As someone who only sees black and white and then again as someone who sees no black or white but only grey. As someone who needs to be cleverer and yet still many more if you were to ask me what and how I view myself I would say this. I am who I am and who I am is me and only me nothing more nothing less and that a better question would be what do you think and feel I show you. The real me or a fake mask and then ask yourself who is better and if you believe me to be showing my true self then how you would go about describing it and explaining it to yourself and someone else. If indeed a fake mask then why do you believe this so what would I have hidden why hide it from view what is your views on this. Though the view of one’s self is always there it is very hard to find not only for others but also one’s self tons of people go there whole lives trying to find who they are and then someone asks. Even if one has found themselves how do they go about describing it how do they explain it to others it is like trying to explain how some one knows when they are in love and how that love feels. Yet they do somehow know that its love but at the same time are in explicitly drawn to the question of am I truly in love am I sure this feeling is love. Yet at the same time know the truth without knowing the truth like trying to explain that you know something is there yet there is never anything there and yet there it is. Is it static is it chemistry is it biology is it your gut feeling or just your gut is it all in your head or is there truly something there that no one else knows. How do you go about explaining this how do you describe this how do you answer and yet only add to the question and question only to find you know the answer. Yet cannot say why how or when you knew or how you can then tell it to someone else so that they understand and are able to do the same. That is what trying to describe who you are to someone who is not you and occasionally that is what it is like to try describing who you are to yourself. I have always show my full and true self to all people and yet do to each person being different they saw and viewed something different they are all right yet wrong a piece of the puzzle yet the whole dang puzzle of who and what I am and yet not even close to who and what I am so you tell me. How would you go about describing one’s self so that they understand and comprehend and when you can do this then you can ask someone Else who they are and say that if they say I am who I am and who I am is me is just a short cut to divert the question away from the truth a cop out if you will till then think about that question yourself

Ghost Hunting Gear
The first piece of gear is the EMF Detector. It stands for Electromagnetic Field Detectors. It also detects the electromagnetic fields ghosts are said to give off, indicating a ghost may be present. It may spike from other things that possess or give off electromagnetic energy. The next piece is the EVP Recorder, which stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena. It can pick up ghosts voices. Ghosts speak in something white noise. It takes them a lot of energy to speak or manifest, even though when you get a voice on the recorder it almost always sounds like they are whispering. The next one is the motion detector which is set off by a spirit or a person moving through its field of view. One important piece of equipment is a flashlight which comes in handy if you cant afford a night vision camera,.
Even if you do have one you should still carry a flashlight on you just in case of an emergency.

My dream job
"My dream job is to be a professional ghost hunter on TV with my own show and team. I want to start out doing local investigations on houses at night. I need to buy the equipment, then read the equipment manual, then get a team together. After that I would find people that feel their house or apartment is haunted and investigate for a fee. In doing this I could buy more new equipment.
I first got intersted in the paranormal when I was 14. I was living in Lake Oswego. Sometimes you'd hear voices... like someone was parting, but no one would be there. One night I had a shoe thrown at me. It was sitting on the floor next to my bed. Next thing I knew it levitated into the air and popped me in the face. I have also seen a shadow figure around there. It was wearing a black trench coat, black hat, and had semi glowing red eyes. I was the only one who saw it. Some other people heard it. It was dark, and mainly you could see the bushes shake, then the cat darting off."

My ealy years
This is some writing that doesn't necessarily come from me, but I thought it would be cool to share.
"At age 5 my dad came into my life . He started to raise me as thug in an attempt to mold me into what he wanted me to be as I grew up. He then started to to teach me how sell drugs like weed, and two months later was planning on having me start selling. Mom kicked him out before he got me to sell. He was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive to me and mom. About 3 months later I started to act like him so the state took me away. The state put me in Providence Hospital. I was there for 2 weeks and then transferred to Albatinna Kerr. I was put in Oregon state hospital because I beat a women up so badly you couldn't tell who she was. I was there for 3 years and was released when I was 11. I was transferred to Edgefield Treatment Center for a year the night I got into a fight. My opponent threw me into the corner of a door cracking my head open. There was blood everywhere.... The door, the walls, my face. It was almost dripping, there was so much blood. It was like something out of a movie. He was released to his family while I stayed in treatment. About a month later I was put into juvenile hall detention center because I was a runaway. I lived the life of a runaway for about 5 years."

Paranormal
This is my first blog but I thought I'd talk about some paranormal activity at my mom's apartment. It started about 2 to 3 months ago. I was siting on my mom's couch in the living room, which is facing the hall way. I was by myself when out of the corner of my eye I saw a black shadow cross from the laundray room to the bathroom. As soon as it was there, it was gone. The next week, mom was sitting on the couch, I was in the kitchen, and my sister was in her room when mom saw out of the corner of her eye a shadow of a cat. Just as I experienced, as soon as it was there it was gone. Then, mom had us search for a cat but there was nothing in the apartment. Mind you we did not have cats at this time. Two weeks later my sister was helping mom cook dinner when she saw the same thing I did. She told me it was about 5'9 to 6'0 feet tall, and wearing a western looking hat. I asked what did she feel when she saw it and I said "what did you feel, sad or scared?" She said she was scared and it made her cry because she was scared so much.
About 1 month ago we got 3 cats: there's Momma the mother cat, Leland, and Unique - Leland and Unique are the kittens. A few hours before we went to bed, Unique was staring at mom's closet and the bedroom doorway as if there was something there. That night when I was sleeping in the living room, mom was sleeping in her room and my sister was in her room. She wokeup and saw the shadowy fighure that she saw in the kitchen when she was helping mom cook. She told my mom and I the next morning I asked her again, "how did it make you feel?" She said the same thing: it made her cry and she was scared. I asked her "why didn't you come get me?" and she told me it was blocking her doorway. That's everything that has happened so far at my mom's apartment.

Of Blue Oceans and Tomacco
On "Simpsons" episode AABF19 "E-I-E-I-(annoyed grunt)", Homer managed to produce Tomacco by growing tobacco and tomato seeds using plutonium for fertilizer. (The original plan was to make gigantic plants in true "sci-fi" style) The Laramie executives offered $150 million dollars for Homer's plant, because, while there are laws against selling cigarettes to children, there are no rules against selling them Tomacco. The example, though fictional, demonstrates my point. A corporation could create a variant of a product that could be dangerous, yet legal.
The Blue Ocean Strategy, the strategy of creating value by shifting the focus of your product (or service) to reach new audiences and increased profit margin. The downside for society is that these products have a span of time where they are not properly regulated by the government.

As the pendulum swings: the reality of polarity
Now I know this is a sensitive issue, and only just my opinion, but please hear me out before you shut me down: here goes!
I'm often stunned at how many times a major issue seems to be less about what is being contested and more about who's contesting it. Take for instance the terms Cracker/N*****: if both parties are of the same ethnicity, it's often taken as a friendly jibe, but if the speaker is another ethnicity it is taken as a racist remark, whether this is in fact the case or not. Another example is when the only views presented are extreme opposites, even if the great majority of public opinion is somewhere in between. Take for instance the gun control issue, where it's hard to find an opinion that isn't ether for banning guns outright or arming everyone, yet when you ask a random person on the street they'd most likely feel somewhere in between those positions.

Pondering the Dead: A Reflection
The bodies of the fallen lay before me, and sorrow fills my soul. I wonder what they died for; was it love, was it greed, or some simple need? But the sorrow is not alone, for with it comes joy for what they may have lived for: love, happiness or the desire to simple be. With this reflection I leave them be in their contented and eternal slumber, for their reasons to live or die are not mine in which to dwell.
